Pharmacy's role
Pharmacists are ideally placed to advise parents on infant feeding. You can ask prospective parents about the family's history of allergy and discuss the advantages of exclusive breastfeeding for the baby's health and reducing the risk of allergy. You can also give parents information on SMA H.A.® in case they choose not to or are unable to breastfeed.
