Wholesaler Alliance Healthcare has launched a new digital service to help customers order products online.
The company said the Alliance Healthcare Portal would make it easier to order products, report missing products and make return claims. The portal also uses a chatbot system to help customers ask questions about their deliveries.
Over 2,000 customers have registered with the portal, the company said on Tuesday January 14.
Alliance Healthcare UK managing director Julian Mount said: “We’re driving digital with the Alliance Healthcare Portal and are doing everything we can to partner with community pharmacy and help them better serve the patient.
“We are embracing digital technology like never before and very soon customers will be able to order surgical products through the portal and manage their statements and invoices.”
