A meal replacement powder has been added to the XLS-Medical range. XLS-Nutrition weight loss shake is described as a nutritionally complete formula, high in protein and with a combination of B vitamins for energy release. The aim is to provide a weight loss solution that can fit into busy lives, says Perrigo.

Available in vanilla, chocolate and strawberry flavours (10 portions, £19,99), each shake contains fewer that 250 calories. The vanilla shake is also available with a shaker (£22.99) or the shaker can be purchased alone (£5.99). A £1 million marketing campaign will support the range extension – TV advertising will run for six weeks between April 23 and June 24, supported by a social media campaign on Instagram and Facebook.
