About 400 million people globally are affected by urinary incontinence - whether mildly or seriously, temporarily or chronically, men and women, all ages.

Women are generally more likely to have one or more periods of bladder weakness during their lives. Temporary problems during pregnancy are especially common. In total, 1 in 4 women over the age of 35 experience bladder weakness at some point in their lives.

Among men, 1 in 4 men over the age of 40 experience urine leakage, including drips and dribbles at some point in their lives.

Many of you will be aware that incontinence becomes more common as we age.
But as you can see below, even at age 35 to 39 around 10% of us are affected.
