Clinitas Soothe Multi (10ml, £9.35) is a preservative-free eye drop that offers “rapid and prolonged relief from dry eye discomfort”, says Altacor. Containing sodium hyaluronate 0.4%, the formulation boosts and stabilises the tear flm, and “stays in the eye for long-lasting comfort, is non-toxic and is generally suitable for contact lens wearers”, the company adds. As well as Clinitas Soothe Multi, the range also includes Clinitas Soothe (20 x 0.5ml, £6.95) and Clinitas Hydrate (10g, £4.24).

Murine’s range of eye care solutions includes Murine Advanced Dry Eye Relief, described by Prestige Brands as a clinically proven, preservative-free solution that acts as a lubricant and supplements the lacrimal fluids. Meanwhile, Murine Dry & Tired Eyes has been relaunched as a medical device with a new improved formulation that provides “up to eight hours of soothing comfort”. The drops contain two lubricants in a liquid gel, which helps them stay in the eye for longer and provides fast acting relief and daily protection for dry eyes, says the company.
