Numark members receive highest ever rebate

Numark has announced that an annual rebate of £23.5 million was paid to its members in 2016, a £1.07 million increase on 2015. This equates to an average rebate of £748 per month, which is almost a six-fold return on the £131 membership fee.

Numark reached the 3,000-member mark in October of last year and has recruited a further 300 members by the end of January.

John D’Arcy, managing director, commented: “Pharmacy margin continues to erode and paradoxically expectations for pharmacies to develop and establish patient services increases. It is no surprise, therefore, that more independent pharmacies are turning to Numark.

“The rebate programme is one of many compelling examples of how we are helping pharmacies grow and develop a competitive offering, whilst at the same time repealing erosion and maximising returns.”
