Bio-Kult Infantis

Bio-Kult Infantis is an advanced multibacterial strain formulation for babies, toddlers and young children, says Probiotics International. Each sachet contains seven strains of live bacteria, which research suggests could help with stomach troubles commonly associated with bowel movements. Infantis also contains omega 3 (believed to contribute to early brain development and cognitive function) and vitamin D3 which, the company says, helps to contribute to the normal function of the immune system and bone development.

Fultium

Everyone in the UK aged one year and over requires 10mcg of vitamin D a day (8.5-10mcg for breastfeeding infants under one year), particularly during the winter months. Pharmacies are in an excellent position to recommend an OTC supplement to parents looking for a quality product, such as Fultium Daily D3 drops, for their children, says Thornton & Ross.
