Local commissioners are not making as much use of community pharmacies to help their local populations as they could, according to the results of surveys undertaken by Pharmacy Voice and PSNC.
Thirty-seven per cent of LPCs say they have had fewer community pharmacy services commissioned than a year ago and 44 per cent say local commissioners have refused to engage with community pharmacy. However 56 per cent of LPCs believe more services will be commissioned in the next year.
