Day Lewis launches Academy +

Day Lewis has launched Day Lewis Academy +, a new digital learning system to help pharmacists and support staff stay up to date with their learning needs.

Day Lewis Academy + forms part of the Pharmacy Network, which is developed and operated by Communications International Group, the UK’s largest provider of pharmacy learning content and publisher of Pharmacy Magazine, Training Matters and P3 Pharmacy.

Once registered, users will have instant access to 200 e-learning modules and over 1,500 pieces of clinical, practice and business management learning articles to help  maintain and develop their practice and improve customer interactions and patient outcomes.

“This is a brilliant way of helping pharmacists complete their nine pieces of CPD"

The new fully searchable system also enables pharmacists and staff to take control of your CPD and learning record. Pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and medicines counter assistants can record their learning outcomes, in line with the sector’s regulatory requirements, in their own personal learning log. What’s more, each individual staff member owns their own record and it can move with them throughout their career.

Day Lewis learning and development manager Melanie O’Hare said: “This is a brilliant way of helping pharmacists complete their nine pieces of CPD, spread out across the year. It also gives everyone access to relevant, job-specific online training.”

Day Lewis Academy + can be accessed directly by all Day Lewis pharmacy staff from the Day Lewis intranet, on any PC, tablet or mobile device in store or from home. Just visit: academyplus.daylewis.net.

If you are a pharmacy retailer or member organisation and would like to find our more about how The Pharmacy Network, a digital learning system with over 200 clinical, practice and self care e-learning modules, please email: info@pharmacy-network.co.uk.
