Gogglebox couple at Frontline launch

A flea and tick treatment for cats and dogs that helps protect pets and homes has been launched by Merial.

Frontline Plus not only kills fleas and ticks on the pet, but also contains ‘active IGR technology’ that stops flea eggs from hatching and larvae developing in the home. This is important, says the company, as 95 per cent of a flea problem can be found in the home as eggs, larvae and pupae.

A three-month roadshow featuring the Frontline Plus House was launched at Victoria Station in London earlier this month by Steph and Dom Parker of Gogglebox with Gigi, their miniature Dachshund (pictured). The campaign is also being supported by TV vet Scott Miller.

The Frontline Plus House, which features a typical British living room and garden area, will encourage visitors to explore the space to find the hidden fleas and ticks lurking within. Veterinary professionals will be on hand to offer advice on flea and tick protection.

Visitors are being encouraged to share photos of the activity across their social channels, receive instant rewards through a ‘lucky dip’ competition, and sign up to the Frontline monthly treatment reminder service to have a chance of winning a £1,500 Forest Holiday for their family and pet.
