A typical pharmacy in the UK provides care for around 10 patients with Parkinson’s disease (PD) and will have one to two newly diagnosed patients each year. This module is divided into four steps:

  1. Pre-consultation: Covers communication points and a brief reminder of key PD treatments for motor symptoms
  2. Starting the consultation
  3. Questions to ask in the consultation
  4. Ending the consultation: Includes questions that should be asked, and signposting and tips you can offer the patient.
