SMA® PRO First Infant Milk

The amino acid profile in formula milks determines the quality of protein they contain. According to a joint World Health Organisation (WHO), Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) and United Nations University (UNU) report: “The amino acid content of breast milk is the best estimate for infant amino acid requirements.”9

SMA® Nutrition has used these findings to create SMA® PRO First Infant Milk, with a lower quantity of protein and a higher quality amino acid profile than traditional formula milks. A low quantity, high protein quality formula has been shown to demonstrate growth patterns comparable to those of breastfed infants.10

SMA® PRO First Infant Milk is clinically proven to achieve a growth rate that is comparable to a breastfed baby.10 Made with SMA® Nutrition’s exclusive protein process, its protein profile is closer to breast milk, containing 1.24g per 100ml (1.85g/100kcal).*
