May Bank Holiday rescheduled in 2020

The Government has announced that it is pushing back next year's early May Bank Holiday to Friday, May 8 2020.

PSNC is advising pharmacies that this means they must open on May 4 2020 for their usual Monday opening hours, but can be closed on May 8 without giving notice or applying to change their core hours.

PSNC has published a 2020 annual opening hours factsheet provides contractors with a quick reference guide on which public and bank holidays pharmacies can close without giving notice.
