USING EYE DROPS

It is helpful to explain and demonstrate to customers how to apply eye drops, as they may find it difficult to start with. You can talk them through the steps below.

STEP 1

Wash hands before handling the bottle. Open the bottle.

STEP 2

Insert a drop into a pocket of the lower lid by pinching the base of the eyelid together.

ALTERNATIVELY, rest the neck of the bottle on the bridge of your nose.

STEP 3

Do not touch the tip of the bottle, especially if you have an eye infection. Put the cap back on after use.
