The launch of the ABAK system in 1996 was a world first, as it was the first multi-dose bottle to dispense eye drops. An ABAK is now sold every 2 seconds around the world. The ABAK bottle includes a filtering membrane, which keeps a solution sterile for up to 3 months from opening, removing any need for preservatives.
