Pet health is a category that may not be top of mind within community pharmacy, but is one that has become much more prominent over the last few years. Approximately 90% of people in England are just 20 minutes' walk away from their nearest pharmacy,² and many of these hold 100-hour contracts, so they are more accessible than ever before. This paves the way for pet owners to use pharmacy as their first port of call for pet health products.
