Pharmacist Support launches latest ACTNow campaign

The charity Pharmacist Support has launched a new Trainee ACTNow Wellbeing campaign, running from Wednesday August 27 to Friday August 29, 2025.

The campaign, which has been designed to coincide with the start of trainee pharmacists’ foundation year, aims to empower trainees to take care of their mental health through the provision of free resources, peer insights, financial guidance and practical wellbeing tools.

Danielle Hunt, chief executive of Pharmacist Support, said: “We know that the trainee year can be a time of huge growth, but also pressure and uncertainty. We want every trainee pharmacist to feel seen, supported and equipped to look after their wellbeing right from the start. ACTNow is about building healthy habits for a healthier career.”

This year’s campaign has been sponsored by the Pharmacists’ Defence Association and Boots, whose involvement has enabled Pharmacist Support to connect with trainees from the very start of their journey and then provide year-round wellbeing support.

Over the three days of the campaign, it will prepare trainees to build good wellbeing habits in their training year, manage their personal finances and budgeting, and promote effective teamwork in a pharmacy.
