Unicough back on TV screens

Unicough back on TV screens

Unicough, the pharmacy-only cocoa-based cough preparation from Infirst Healthcare, is back on TV from November with a new advertising campaign that will also return in February 2018.

The TV advertisement highlights the viscous cocoa droplet running down the pack, showing that it coats and soothes the throat to reduce the uncontrollable urge to cough. It also clearly directs consumers to ask the pharmacist for Unicough medicine.

Price promotions have been offered to pharmacists with an attractive sell-in package and RSP, says the company. Also on offer is a free pack of Unisoothe dual action lozenges when consumers purchase a pack of Unicough 150ml or Unicough 300ml.

Infirst says clinical data supports a new cough diagnosis pathway, which shows that all coughs – dry, tickly or chesty – can be treated by controlling cough reflex hypersensitivity. Unicough is clinically proven to treat all types of coughs in this way, the company claims.
