The General Pharmaceutical Council has released the names of the 2,077 pre-registration trainee pharmacists who passed their registration assessment in June. This represents a pass rate of 74 per cent.
There were 2,811 candidates who sat the assessment, with 2,077 candidates passing the examinations and 734 candidates who did not.
Some 2,621 candidates sat the assessment for the first time, 116 for the second time and 74 for the third time. Pharmacist pre-registration trainees are permitted three attempts at the registration assessment.
