Numark has welcomed its 6,000^th member in the UK by giving their pharmacy a makeover.

Insisting the “major” milestone was “a celebration of strength, resilience and ambition of community pharmacy and reflection of Numark’s commitment to supporting pharmacy”, the company, who did not name the 6,000^th member, said it will give them a “completely free pharmacy refresh”.

That, it added, included “a bespoke transformation of their front-of-shop space which is designed to modernise the environment, enhance patient experience and help the pharmacy grow”.

Numark chairman Harry McQuillan said: “This is a moment to celebrate every single one of our members. Our network has grown stronger year on year, thanks to the commitment of thousands of independent pharmacies who put their trust in us.

"This milestone belongs to all of you. At Numark, we believe that supporting your success is just good business, and that’s what we’re all about.”
