Martindale Pharma describes its new launch, Gabup, as a novel buprenorphine sublingual tablets range. In addition to the three strengths of the drug already available on the market (0.4mg, 2mg and 8mg), Martindale Pharma will offer three additional strengths (1mg, 4mg and 6mg) to allow for more flexible dosing and a reduction in pill burden for some patients. The introduction is being supported by a pricing scheme which, Martindale says, reduces the cost of sublingual buprenorphine prescribing by up to 36 per cent.
