The Community Pharmacy Future (CPF) project team beat off competition from four other respiratory medicine teams across England to win Respiratory Team of the Year at the BMJ Awards 2014. Results from the team's collaborative project on COPD suggest an annual NHS cost saving of over £470m arising from pharmacist intervention.
