This module focuses on the biopsychosocial aspects of patient care. It describes why and how social prescribing is integral to patient care and explores how pharmacists can contribute to meeting patients’ psychosocial needs.

It considers the place of social prescribing within the NHS and explores how community pharmacy can play a greater role in the day-to-day holistic management of patients.
