RPS board elections: voting opens

Voting in the RPS English and Scottish Pharmacy Board elections is now open.

RPS members can submit questions to the candidates, and read their responses, on a dedicated National Pharmacy Board elections network.

Those eligible to vote in the elections will receive an email, or postal ballot if requested, which contains instructions on voting, along with a unique voter code. The voter code is different to the membership number.

Those voting online (the default position) will receive an email today from Royal Pharmaceutical Society (elections@mi-voice.com). The unique voter number needs to be entered on the UK Engage website to vote in the elections.

However, if those opted to vote by post have not received anything by May 15, they need to contact the UK Engage Support Team by emailing rps@uk-engage.org or by calling 0345 209 3770.

Four candidates in Wales were elected unopposed, so there is no voting taking place for the vacancies on the Welsh Pharmacy Board.

Voting closes at 12 noon on May 26, with the results expected to be announced on or about May 31.
