Mouth Cancer Action Month takes place in November and is an opportunity for pharmacy to build awareness of this devastating disease and its signs, symptoms and causes.

More than 7,500 people are diagnosed with mouth cancer a year in the UK. This has increased by around 40 per cent in the last decade alone, yet general awareness of mouth cancer remains dangerously low. Campaign materials and ways to get involved can be found at www.mouthcancer.org/get-involved.
