Goals and learning objectives

This module provides an overview of malaria and will update your knowledge on the latest prevention options available including OTC medication. After completing this module you will understand the distribution and life cycle of the malaria parasite and be able to give bite prevention advice. You will also be able to advise travellers on OTC malaria chemoprophylaxis available from pharmacy and explain the early signs of malaria.
