Quadrivalent flu jab launched

Sanofi Pasteur recently launched a quadrivalent influenza vaccine in the UK that protects against two A and two B strains.

The company says that two strains of influenza B have been consistently co-circulating during recent flu seasons. “By adding protection against the additional B strain, these innovative vaccines help address the unpredictable nature of B strain circulation, thus broadening protection against influenza.”
