PSNC is reminding community pharmacy contractors that the March 31 deadline for four clinical governance aspects of their terms of service is fast approaching.

The requirements are:

• An annual IG Toolkit
• An annual CPPQ and publish the results
• A clinical audit. Contractors need to conduct two audits each year: one on a topic of their choice and one determined by NHS England (NB no national audit has been determined for 2017/18).
• An annual complaints report, with a copy sent to the local NHS team. This needs to be done as soon after March 31 as possible.
